We were supposed to do both Seaside Heights and Ocean City in one day. While this is entirely possible, we got a late start on Seaside Heights and were exhausted already from our first week going to parks non-stop. Another factor was money. Even though this was very early on the trip, I already knew we were careening overbudget. Seaside Heights is very, very expensive, and Ocean City parks looked to be just as expensive without much return for your buck (or so we are assuming). With all this in mind, we headed back to Dave's after Seaside Heights to get some much needed sleep.

On the bright side, we plan on going to and covering the Ocean City parks on a Jersey Shore trip at the beginning of the 2005 season.
